... You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. ... And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.

from Delhi

Delhi is scorching hot! When I see images on TV of water everywhere in Mumbai, I sigh... wondering when Delhi would get its respite. The high here keeps hovering near 40C. The dust here compounds the misery. Hopefully rains should be here soon. Until then Delhi-ites grit and bear it. People here don't seem to smile much and rightly so for this is a city of haves and have-nots, Mercedes Benz and BMW's overtake the ubiquitous sardar on his Bajaj scooter. Construction workers sleeping on pavements outside the site of large malls coming up. Delhi is unique in its own way.
I hope the monsoon comes here soon.
Until then, wish me luck to survive !

You should have been in Chennai last monsoon: you would then probably have run for your life every time you saw a flooded road.
Yes, Delhi is a city of extremes as far as the weather goes. Perhaps it was a city conceived to test the survival of the fittest.
Anyways, happy weathering! :)
